About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Group Owner to lead our Test Automation team at Telstra. As a key member of our Product and Technology team, you will be responsible for assessing the current testing landscape, identifying improvement opportunities, and establishing a vision for test automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth in test automation.
  • Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies, utilizing industry-standard methodologies and testing frameworks to ensure software quality.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and achieving project goals.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical and operational challenges, with a systematic and analytical approach.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization to drive exceptional customer and employee experiences.

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing robust software solutions, with a strong focus on system architecture and engineering principles.
  • Proven track record in implementing comprehensive testing strategies and utilizing industry-standard methodologies and testing frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to facilitate effective team communication.
