Total Loss Claims Role

As a Total Loss Claims Officer, you will play a crucial part in our team's success by processing end-to-end total loss claims efficiently and professionally. Your goal will be to achieve fair and equitable settlement while providing exceptional member service.

This role involves:

  • Delivering exceptional and professional service to members and internal/external customers by identifying, responding to, and satisfying their needs.
  • Negotiating settlements for claims within established guidelines and procedures.
  • Identifying possible fraudulent matters and consulting with management on recommended actions.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have:

  • Motor or similar claims experience is preferred.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • A positive can-do attitude and team ethos.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice, The Australian Privacy Principles, Dispute resolution process, and legislative requirements.
