Operational Manager Role

Based at our national operations center, the Operational Manager will be accountable for the safe and cost-effective control of all on-road activities. Oversee the daily operations of all fleet staff, working closely with regional teams to ensure exceptional customer service and meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to meeting and exceeding customer SLA and operational Key Performance Indicators.
  • Provide actionable feedback to drive operational and financial performance.
  • Drive cost-effective operational excellence through process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate daily activities of on-road employees.
  • Address fleet-related queries, escalations, and issues nationally, communicating with relevant teams and customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and drivers to ensure smooth operations and high service levels.
Requirements:
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to perform under pressure, maintaining focus while managing conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to optimize fleet operations for maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Familiarity with fleet management systems.
  • Understanding of technical and maintenance aspects of vehicles and equipment.
  • Ability to analyze and report data trends.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders on operational needs.
