Event Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an Event Coordinator to provide administrative and event support to our Centres and Research Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality, professional events and services to internal and external clients.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant event or administrative experience, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office and event software such as Adobe and Eventbrite.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of events, conferences, and other activities throughout the year
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Centre's Team Leader and research teams
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment
  • Develop and implement event marketing strategies to promote events to internal and external audiences
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of event attendance, feedback, and evaluation results
Requirements:
  • Relevant event or administrative experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office and event software
