Maintenance Planner Garli Project (Rio Tinto Site)Full-time | 8 : 6 Roster | Permanent Position120,000 + Super AnnnuallyMechanics Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a leading WA-based mechanical services provider to recruit an experienced Maintenance Planner for their operations on the Rio Tinto Garli Project.This role will suit someone who knows their way around maintenance systems, thrives in a high-performing team, and wants a long-term opportunity with a respected player in the mechanical and plant servicing space.About the Role :You'll be planning and coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance activities across diesel vehicles, plant and specialised equipment.
You'll work closely with workshop and production teams to reduce downtime and keep everything running smoothly.What You'll Be Doing :Build and manage preventative and corrective maintenance schedulesWork with the maintenance team, contractors and suppliers to get jobs done on timeKeep maintenance records, work orders and asset registers up to dateAnalyse performance data and spot areas for improvementHelp with parts, tooling and procurementLiaise with production to plan maintenance with minimal disruptionSupport safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiativesWhat You Need :Minimum 5 years in a maintenance planning or similar roleStrong knowledge of mechanical / electrical maintenance principlesSolid experience using CMMS systems (SAP, Pronto etc.)Good communicator who can work with trades, supervisors and vendorsCan prioritise, solve problems and keep multiple tasks movingUnderstanding of WHS and maintenance complianceRelevant qualification in engineering, maintenance or a mechanical / electrical tradeC Class drivers licenseNice to Have :Forklift, EWP or other high-risk licensesExperience in mining, industrial or heavy mechanical environmentsRoster & Pay :2 : 1 FIFO roster ex-PerthDay shift onlyUp to $70 per hour + superWeekly payLong-term, permanent opportunityIf you're a skilled planner who wants stability, strong systems and a company that values reliability and teamwork, apply now.Questions before applying?
