Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager Regulatory Reporting to lead our Capital and Risk Operations team. As a key member of our Regulatory Reporting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely compilation, preparation, review, and lodgement of defined APRA Returns.

You will work closely with the Head of Regulatory Reporting and collaborate with key stakeholders to contribute towards the mission and vision of regulatory reporting. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to identify errors and discrepancies in regulatory reports, and your excellent communication skills will facilitate effective collaboration with the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Capital and Risk Operations team in the compilation, preparation, review, and lodgement of defined APRA Returns
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to contribute towards the mission and vision of regulatory reporting
  • Identify errors and discrepancies in regulatory reports and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain consistent documentation for all regulatory reporting
  • Ensure the team uses, reviews, and improves documented controls
Requirements
  • At least 7 years' experience in financial services, with 5 years in regulatory reporting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Capital Returns in the banking industry
  • Experience in leading a team of direct reports responsible for the completion of a large number of regulatory reports
  • Strong analytical skills to identify errors and discrepancies in regulatory reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, business, risk, or related discipline
