About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Tester to join our Agile software development team at KBR. As a Senior Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and implement test methodologies, processes, products, and tools in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Test execution, peer review, results logging, and test result validation.
  • Assist with requirements management for projects and software products.
  • Undertake defect analysis and reporting, including liaison with project teams as necessary.
  • Escalate any issues (software, hardware, resources) to the Software Technical Lead/Project Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with a distributed team.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Experience producing technical documentation.
  • Experience working as part of an Agile team.
  • Experience setting up test environments and performing test execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organization/prioritization skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience working in a software development environment using Azure DevOps.
  • Basic knowledge or experience writing SQL queries.
  • Engineering and/or IT qualifications.
  • Experience working to military software testing/documentation standards.
