This role is ideal for a morning-oriented professional who seeks to contribute to our pre-opening kitchen team in Sydney.
You will be responsible for leading the breakfast section and ensuring seamless early operations.
Your focus on quality, attention to detail, and pride in your work will result in an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
A Day in the Kitchen- Prepare and present consistently high-quality dishes with a focus on seasonality and flavor;
- Collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to guarantee smooth early operations;
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepped section for the next shift;
- Foster a safe and hygienic working environment by adhering to food safety standards;
- Support junior staff members as a morning mentor.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef in a breakfast or high-volume kitchen setting;
- You thrive during early shifts and possess a positive attitude towards mornings;
- You have a proven track record of motivating diverse kitchen teams in high-pressure environments;
- Excellent organizational skills enable you to stay focused and productive;
- Confidence in preparing eggs, pastries, and balanced breakfast dishes;
- Strong communication skills facilitate effective collaboration with front-of-house staff and other departments.
