Home Care Support Worker

This role involves assisting our aged care clients in living independently at home, requiring flexibility across 7 days between 8am-5pm. You will be travelling around the Wagga Wagga area and surrounding suburbs, making it an ideal opportunity for those who enjoy meeting new people and providing support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with general household tasks including vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, changing beds, and washing.
- Provide transport to appointments and shopping.
- Prepare meals.
- Offer social support or respite for family members/carers.
- Assist with personal care, including showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A reliable team player.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety.
- An Australian driver's license and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle.
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program).
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check.
- Competitive hourly pay rate + Km reimbursement (99c per Km) + paid travel time.
