About The Role

We are seeking Support Workers to serve the Wagga Wagga area and surrounding communities. Your primary role will be to assist a diverse range of clients, including aged and high-needs individuals, with activities of daily living and support services in their own homes, such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite, and Personal Care. Our goal is to deliver high-quality care that promotes client independence within their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Promote client choice, positive routines, and meaningful activities in line with Calvary Home Care's Service Delivery Model.
  2. Work shifts in set time blocks and pattern rostering.
  3. Drive client and company vehicles as required.
  4. Support clients proactively to enhance their life choices both at home and in the community.
  5. Report changes in clients' health, care plans, or if additional services are needed.
  6. Regularly review communications via email, Support Worker Connect, and other channels to stay updated on policies, procedures, and activities.
  7. Ensure your own health and safety, as well as that of others in the workplace.
  8. Protect client rights and confidentiality, maintaining dignity and privacy in care provision.
Minimum Requirements
  • Completion of a minimum of Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services, Aged Care, or equivalent.
  • Current full driver's license.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR.
  • Reliable motor vehicle with valid registration and comprehensive third-party insurance.
  • Smart mobile device.
  • NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Police Clearance within 6 months (or willingness to obtain).
  • Access to the internet and experience with computers and applications.
  • A commitment to community service and personal fulfillment.
  • A desire to join a team dedicated to caring for others within a mission-driven organization.
