Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to provide comprehensive accounting and business advisory services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to delivering results.

The successful applicant will work closely with Partners and Managers to provide a range of accounting and advisory services to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Income Tax Assessment (IAS) returns
  • Preparation of financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and associated entities
  • Preparation of tax returns
  • Tax planning and strategy development
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for clients

Requirements:
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • A positive and engaging communication style
  • Demonstrated integrity with a professional outlook
  • A team-focused attitude with a confident and friendly personality
  • Ability to meet deadlines and identify and resolve problems effectively
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously despite changing priorities and requirements
  • Current experience with leading accounting software packages (Xero, QuickBooks Online, Reckon, and MYOB)
  • Degree qualification in Accounting, Business, or Commerce
  • Completion of the Certified Accountant (CA) program
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting within a professional services firm
