About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Intermediate Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing Individual and Business tax returns, as well as BAS and IAS. You will also liaise with clients, deal with ATO inquiries, and provide basic tax-related advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising with clients to understand their tax needs and providing guidance on tax compliance.
  • Preparing Individual and Business tax returns, including BAS and IAS.
  • Dealing with ATO inquiries and objections in a professional manner.
  • Providing basic tax-related advice to clients.
Requirements
  • A degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • H&R Block Tax Preparation course or similar completion (desirable).
  • Experience with tax preparation packages.
  • Solid understanding of taxation law principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • High organization skills and ability to work autonomously.
