Job Title: Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Brisbane.

As a key member of our HSEQ team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of residents and patients by monitoring the implementation of operational policies and systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Monitoring the implementation of operational safety, health, environment and QA policies and systems">
  • Risk management">
  • Delivering effective HSEQ programs">
  • Incident investigations">
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations">
  • Consulting with site management and advising on HSEQ matters">
  • Effective communication of HSEQ information across the site">
  • Maintaining a culture committed to HSEQ excellence">
  • Driving behaviours and safety culture">

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • Cert IV in OH&S">
  • Significant HSEQ experience, ideally in hospital and/or healthcare environment">
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring HSE programs in a multi-disciplined environment">
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles and people safety in a healthcare setting">
  • Sound understanding of return to work and work cover processes">
  • A genuine interest and belief in 'Safety First' and a willingness to work closely with team members to achieve a safe, happy and collaborative work environment">
