About the Role

Zurich 56 Company Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Motor Fleet Underwriter to join our team. As an Underwriter, you will play a critical role in servicing new and existing business, working closely with Senior Underwriters to develop and utilize a broad knowledge of our General Motor product offering.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our General Motor product offering, including knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  2. Work closely with Senior Underwriters to service new and existing business, handling complex tasks and supporting broker and customer enquiries.
  3. Liaise with a range of stakeholders, including brokers, customers, and internal teams, to achieve sales and retention targets.
  4. Regularly interact and face the market, building and maintaining strong working relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Experience in underwriting, preferably general insurance lines of business, with motor underwriting experience being advantageous.
  2. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.
