Principal Infrastructure Specialist

About the role:
As a Principal Infrastructure Specialist at Interactive, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' critical infrastructure. This includes preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades, and providing support to reputable customers in the industry.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Managed or mentored a small team of Field Engineers.
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment as a Field Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of storage systems, including HP, Dell EqualLogic, EMC VNX, EVA, NetApp, Pure, 3PAR, and IBM.
- Experience with Intel-based servers from HP, Dell, IBM, and Lenovo.
- Familiarity with tape libraries from HP, IBM, and Dell.
- Working knowledge of Cisco, including loading IOS and Config files.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve problems efficiently.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on an on-call roster and be available for emergencies.
- Must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for NV1 Clearance.
In addition, the following experience is desirable but not essential:
- Cisco experience and/or certifications.
- NetApp Storage systems experience and/or certifications.
- EMC experience and/or certifications.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing their technical skills and knowledge, and be eager to take on new products and challenges.
