About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Officer to join our team at Springfield Central State School. In this role, you will contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing relevant and timely administrative support to the Principal, Business Manager, and Office Manager.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Generate daily reports on absenteeism, send SMS messages to parents/carers, advise and follow up with teachers, and document relevant information.
- Undertake routine activities including reception, student services, first aid, administering medication, correspondence, enrolments, data entry tasks, maintaining school records, processing of mail and emails.
- Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service while communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Experience working with OneSchool and other DoE platforms preferred.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
