Our company is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

The role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on mobile mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. This includes working in a dynamic environment, collaborating with site personnel to achieve safety and performance targets.

About the Role
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across the fleet of autonomous haul trucks and ancillary equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and contribute to a strong safety culture
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and other team members to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively
Key Requirements
  • Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or heavy diesel fitting
  • Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical expertise, fault-finding and diagnostic skills on a wide variety of mobile mining equipment
  • Experience working with 793F & 797F Haul Trucks, 994H Loaders, M Series Graders and D Series Water Carts
  • OEM Experience will be highly regarded
  • High levels of initiative and ability to work well in a team environment
