We are seeking an individual who can make a positive impact on our students' wellbeing and help them achieve their full potential.

Job Description:

The role of the Student Wellbeing Leader is to lead and manage the school's wellbeing initiatives, promoting a culture of care and respect for all students, staff and families. This involves working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to identify and address the social and emotional needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a positive and supportive school climate that fosters a sense of belonging and connection among students, staff and families
  • Develop and implement evidence-based wellbeing programs that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those with additional learning needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement, motivation and resilience

The successful applicant will be offered a two-year contract as a Student Wellbeing Leader and an ongoing teaching position.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing wellbeing initiatives in a school setting
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to identify and address the social and emotional needs of students
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based wellbeing programs and strategies

We require applicants to demonstrate experience with the Positive Behaviours for Learning approach, supporting students' social and emotional needs, developing respectful relationships with students, families and colleagues, and using data to inform wellbeing interventions.
