About Our Student Support Services

We are seeking a skilled social worker to join our student support services team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-level support to students, improving student learning outcomes, and working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals.

  • Developing and implementing advanced wellbeing interventions to support students and educational programs.
  • Coordinating student support services within a collaborative team environment.
  • Making significant contributions to student wellbeing policy development and providing expert advice on issues involving student wellbeing.
  • Liaising with external service providers, schools, and community organisations regarding student support needs.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise as a social worker, knowledge of student wellbeing issues, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. They will also have experience working in schools and with children and youth, as well as strong planning and organisational skills.

Mandatory requirements include a graduate or postgraduate degree in Social Work or equivalent, eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, and a valid Victorian Working with Children Check and full Driver's License.
