Principal Data Modeller Position

As a seasoned data architect, you will have the opportunity to design and develop comprehensive data landscapes. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse business requirements and translate them into robust logical and physical data models.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimise database structures, including tables, views, and relationships, to ensure maximum performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries and metadata documentation, contributing to data governance frameworks.
- Provide expert guidance to development teams on data modelling best practices while staying current with emerging industry trends.
- Minimum 4 years of direct experience in data modelling, with a strong focus on designing and developing dimensional data marts using the Kimball methodology.
- Proven proficiency in a cloud environment with hands-on expertise in SQL, Databricks, and dbt (data build tool).
- Expertise using industry-standard data modelling software such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated experience creating data models specifically to support business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI) and advanced analytics.
