**Job Opportunity:** Medical Officer / General Practitioner

Role Overview

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to Defence personnel at our health centre.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team to deliver primary medical care, assess fitness for duty, and provide pre/post-deployment medical support. You will also have the opportunity to work across outpatient and inpatient care settings as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policies
  • Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnel
  • Assess fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical support
  • Provide medical technical advice to Defence leadership
Requirements
  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
  • FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration
  • Minimum 2 years' full time (or part time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years
  • Australian Citizen - for Baseline Security Clearance requirements
