Project Manager - Energy and Resources

The Bureau's Energy and Resources program is responsible for delivering impactful projects to improve the safety, reliability, and productivity of the energy and resources sectors in Australia and the Asia-Pacific Region.

We are seeking a skilled project manager to lead the planning, management, and delivery of key project outcomes within the E&R program in accordance with our governance standards.

  • Plan and drive project delivery, managing financial and resource forecasts, supporting team performance, and ensuring effective risk management.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver project outcomes and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop and implement project plans, manage project artefacts, and contribute to the improvement of project management governance standards and processes.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative individual who can communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, possesses advanced project management skills, and understands how to tailor project approaches to meet unique client needs.

Requirements

A degree or diploma from an Australian institution or comparable overseas qualification is required. Alternatively, other comparable qualifications may be accepted.
