Job Description Summary
The Delivery Manager is a pivotal part of the services organization, owning the project's Delivery Model and serving as the Technical Leader. This role involves cultivating relationships with customers in pre-sales and project delivery phases, providing strategic advice on management and operations to support business objectives. The Delivery Manager offers technical leadership in pre-sales and delivery, managing relationships to ensure project outcomes within constraints. This role also involves defining and maintaining best practices and delivery standards for the Project Engineering team.
Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate with the Project Manager on scope, schedule, risk, and quality management.
Ensure end-to-end software delivery meets schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
Manage project execution, including WBS development, task tracking, and team management.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders about status, risks, scope, and issues.
Lead engineering Gate Reviews and utilize performance measurement tools.
Deploy GE GridOS DERMS solutions and prepare input data for solutions.
Develop and automate data processing scripts, validate models, and lead system integration efforts.
Collaborate on full stack development, respond to client inquiries, and lead testing efforts.
Automate workflows, analyze project data, and deploy solutions on AWS cloud.
Report outcomes, utilize product knowledge for continuous improvement, and work with Scrum teams.
Validate project scope, assist in tendering, ensure smooth project transfer, and engage in customer management.
Additional Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership for complex solutions.
Analyze and prioritize business and technical requirements, maintain stakeholder relationships, and lead technical workshops.
Create and present technical proposals, resolve issues proactively, and own project issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.
Strong electricity industry knowledge with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Skills in requirements management, scripting, and software development, especially Python.
Knowledge
Familiarity with energy industry trends, DER management, distribution planning, and related analysis software.
Desired Characteristics
Teamwork, problem-solving, effective communication, growth mindset, client focus, and innovation.
Nice to Have
Master's degree, AWS Certification, DevOps experience, cybersecurity experience, cloud deployment familiarity, utility integration experience, and power system analysis software knowledge.
