Job Summary
As a Tax Quality Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality management within our tax business. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for protecting our brand, adhering to legislative and professional obligations, and delivering exceptional client service.

About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to drive BDO's response to increasing regulation of the tax profession. You will assist in identifying and analyzing risks and regulatory obligations for the provision of tax services. Additionally, you will help design and implement responses to regulatory change, monitor annual reviews and evaluations of tax services, and support change management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the identification and analysis of risks and regulatory obligations for the provision of tax services.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of responses to regulatory change.
  • Monitor and oversee annual reviews and evaluation of tax services as part of the firm's system of quality management.
  • Support change management activities and help drive continuous improvement of risk intelligence within the tax business.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Laws, Accounting, Commerce, Taxation or equivalent experience in tax, accounting, legal or risk management.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Curious and eager to learn, with an interest in regulatory compliance, change management, policy development, and governance.
