Tax Advisory Role

We are seeking a highly skilled tax professional to join our team, where they will have the opportunity to build a rewarding career and make a meaningful impact on clients' financial well-being.

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Australian tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. They will be responsible for providing expert advice on intricate tax matters, including restructures, capital gains tax, Division 7A, and trust losses.

The successful candidate will also have experience in preparing tax compliance documents, such as financial statements and income tax returns, and will be able to provide year-end tax planning services for various entity types.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tax advice to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely tax compliance documents, including financial statements and income tax returns.
  • Provide strategic tax planning services to clients, identifying opportunities to minimize their tax liabilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support throughout their engagement.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting.
  • Commenced or in the process of completing a CA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Minimum 1+ years relevant experience providing Australian tax compliance or business advisory services to corporate entities, trusts, and individuals.
  • Demonstrated expertise in accounting concepts and experience in preparing financial statements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively.
  • Sound time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work to deadlines.
