Data Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Analyst. This role will play a crucial part in helping us understand our customers and make informed decisions based on data insights.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide actionable data insights and support the team in executing their strategy. You will design, build, and maintain dashboards and data artefacts to assess business performance and monitor trends in key performance indicators (KPIs).

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, fostering trust and playing an advisory role in the use of data to drive business improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide data-driven insights and support the team to execute their strategy
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and data artefacts to assess business performance and monitor trends in KPIs
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to foster trust and play an advisory role in the use of data to improve business performance
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to share and learn core data skills from each other

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience in a Data Analytics or similar technical role
  • A strong understanding of data analytics principles and practices
  • Experience with SQL and BI data viz platforms like Tableau, Looker or similar
  • Strong investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to marry together different data sets
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight
