Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Perioperative Anaesthetic Nurses to join our dynamic team. We are seeking motivated and skilled professionals who can provide exceptional care to adult and paediatric patients undergoing planned and unplanned procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing anaesthesia with precision and compassion
  • Collaborate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care
  • Supervise and direct Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing to deliver patient care with excellence
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs with empathy and understanding
Requirements
  • Current Registration with AHPRA is mandatory
  • Post-Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards) is highly desirable
  • Working with Children check (if relevant) is required
  • A commitment to Quality Patient Care is essential
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills are necessary
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are paramount
