Job Title: Strategic Foresight Leader

We are seeking a talented individual to lead our futures research team in examining trends and emerging signals to understand their impact on our clients and industries.

The Role

Our Futures Research team plays a critical role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of the future. As a Strategic Foresight Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and leading the futures research community of practice
  • Coordinating horizon scanning activities and managing Aurecon's horizon scanning database
  • Developing communications materials and insights on trends and key research areas
  • Conceiving and developing futures-focused service offerings
  • Contributing to client projects and internal initiatives using strategic foresight processes and insights

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with strong strategic thinking, influencing, and problem-solving skills. You should have technical competency and commercial awareness, as well as strategic foresight/Futures studies training and experience in a lead capacity. Additionally, you should be able to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders with varying degrees of literacy and possess analytical skills and ability to interpret research reports and data.
