Accountant Position

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for financial and accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, monthly reporting and analysis.

About the Role

This is a critical role that contributes to commercial decision making by preparing and analyzing key financial information. The successful candidate will ensure data integrity of the general ledger and that financial information is accurately reported and compliant with current accounting standards and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of weekly and monthly sales and P&L reporting.
  • Assist with month-end balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Oversee and assist with processes including revenue and expense recognition, overhead allocations, and monthly accruals.
  • Prepare data for annual financial statements and income tax returns to ensure timely submission of statutory reporting.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, a Bachelor Degree Qualifications in Finance or a related field, and complete (or in progress) CA or CPA Qualifications.
