The day-to-day

This role focuses on commissioning transmission equipment and performing routine, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on various systems within technical facilities and customer premises. The role encompasses all transmission elements for mobile, local, long-distance, BNS, IP, enhanced services platforms, and associated transmission systems related to data carriage.

  • A technical qualification in telecommunications engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in fixed transmission networks with excellent knowledge of network design and technologies.
  • Broad knowledge of critical infrastructure, including DC systems, rectifiers, batteries, PDUs, UPS systems, fire alarms, and HVAC.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Extensive knowledge of critical infrastructure, including power systems, cooling systems, and alarm systems.
