About the Role

Berry Street is a leading provider of services to children, young people, and families in Victoria. We are committed to delivering high-quality programs that make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

The Case Manager - Kinship Care will play a critical role in our Kinship Care Program, working with children, young people, and their kinship families to provide support and guidance. This position requires a strong understanding of the complexities of kinship care and the ability to build strong relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide case management and casework services to young people and families in out-of-home care
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support the needs of children and families
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and services to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting families
  • Provide information and advice to the community on kinship care and related services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor or Diploma qualification in Social Work, Youth Work, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in case management and casework services
  • A sound knowledge of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
