Credit Administration Role

About the Position:

The successful candidate will have a passion for credit collections while maintaining strong customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing customer account collections and reviewing accounts
  • Recommending action regarding bad debts, legal action and credit reviews
  • Making decisions on order release within authorised limits and terms
  • Correctly allocating and aging cash received to enable banking on day of receipt
  • Preparing and maintaining reconciliations, reports and debtor information

Requirements:

  • Currently undertaking or completed an Advanced Credit Management Certificate (desirable)
  • Proven experience in the Australian commercial credit environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of credit procedures and basic credit law
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work with large volumes
