About the Role

This role is critical in driving Queensland's science and innovation agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Chief Scientist Coordination & Engagement (OSCE) to promote Queensland's science capabilities.
  • Oversee Quantum and Advanced Technologies (QAT) projects to implement Queensland's strategy.
  • Manage the Strategy, Policy, and Evaluation (SPE) unit, responsible for science policy development and grant programs.
  • Direct the Science Partnerships and Development (SPD) unit to maximise value from international science relationships and investments.
