Physiotherapist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Bribie Island Aged Care. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in helping older Australians maintain their independence, mobility, and dignity through evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physiotherapy services to residents, focusing on maintaining or improving physical function and overall health.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient interactions and progress.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a qualified Physiotherapist with the relevant professional body.
  • Minimum two years' experience in physiotherapy, preferably in an aged care setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check.
  • Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor.
