At EssilorLuxottica, we are seeking a dedicated and commercially astute Account Manager to contribute to our market-leading sales team within the optical sector.

Our Account Managers serve as the primary point of contact for our company, playing a crucial role in nurturing and sustaining relationships with our Independent Optometry clients. Their key responsibilities include safeguarding our core business, expanding our market presence, and identifying and securing new business opportunities. As an EssilorLuxottica Account Manager, you will collaborate directly with our clients to enhance their business and ours by formulating growth strategies for practices, educating practice staff on the advantages of our products, and partnering closely with our Customer Service teams to ensure exceptional service and support for any challenges our clients may face.

This position will focus on servicing accounts in North NSW, Gold Coast & North Queensland.

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • A vehicle and a valid open driver's license
  • Experience collaborating with practice staff, either in a B2B sales capacity or within a practice
  • Ability to analyze sales data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Minimum of 3 years in optical sales (lens, customer service, lab or retail)
  • Proficient in Excel and the Microsoft suite
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Excellent business acumen, with a solid understanding of pricing strategies and profit margins
  • Capability to train and enhance product knowledge for groups and individuals

While the following qualifications are preferred, training will be provided for the right candidate:

  • Qualifications and/or experience in Optical Dispensing will be highly regarded
  • Prior experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and sales reporting software
  • Proven ability to prospect and convert new business opportunities
  • Experience as an Account Manager
