Director, Injury Management

A senior professional is required to spearhead the development and implementation of an injury management strategy that aligns with key legislation including Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld), Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (Qld), Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld) and Human Rights Act.

This is a high-impact role that directly supports the wellbeing of employees, by leading meaningful reform in workplace health and safety practices.

  • Develop and lead the departments injury management framework, ensuring alignment with key legislation and compliance standards.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of early intervention, rehabilitation and return to work programs, including psychological and psychiatric injury management.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team overseeing injury prevention and claims management practices across the department.
