**Housekeeping Manager Job Summary:**

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring our guest rooms, linens, and public areas are immaculate. In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, this individual assumes responsibility for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all housekeeping staff deliver exceptional guest service as per the Forbes Standard.
  • Manage guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous manner.
  • Keep informed of VIP reservations and preferences.
  • Be responsible for inventory management and linen supplies.
  • Liaise with external laundry services, engineering department, and front office team.
  • Support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing hotel policies and departmental standards.
  • Develop and implement Workplace Health and Safety procedures.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance and L&D Managers to implement SOPs and audits.

Talent Profile:

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Diploma/College Degree in Hotel/Hospitality Management.
  • 3-5 years' experience in similar roles in luxury hotels/resorts.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge in Property Management Systems.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
