Role Overview

About the Role
  • Deliver workshops and information sessions in accessible and culturally appropriate ways.
  • Collaborate with community leaders, migrant communities, unions, service providers and other organisations to create opportunities for delivering accurate information and education.
  • Identify and support emerging leaders within migrant communities to strengthen community education.
Key Selection Criteria
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully, including with people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Demonstrate understanding of union values and the context of workers' rights.
  • Be adaptable, take initiative and contribute to a small, collaborative team.
Requirements
  • A current driver's license.
  • Ability to work outside regular business hours and on weekends.
  • A valid visa that provides work rights or be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
