Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Service Specialist to join our team. As a Data Service Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of managed fund unit prices within our internal system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain data accuracy and generate multiple reports for clients within tight timeframes, adhering to internal procedures.
  • Elevate client service levels by resolving queries diligently and escalating complex issues to the manager.
  • Perform operational tasks such as generating price age reports and follow-up with relevant parties when reporting unit prices are delayed.
  • Add and/or delete funds in our internal system.
  • Navigate our proprietary operational system (B3) with ease to facilitate enquiries, processing, and reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with system enhancements and changes that impact usage and client deliverables.
  • Cross-train on operational responsibilities with peers.

Qualifications / Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in fund operations or financial services.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism and work ethic.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate level abilities in Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft applications.
  • Good understanding of the managed funds industry from data aggregator, custody, fund manager, or registry background.
  • Necessary permission/legal documentation to work in Australia.
