Job OverviewThis is a fantastic in-house opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to work closely with our CEO, Executive team and key internal stakeholders in providing expert legal advice to support our business and legal entities.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, workplace relations, compliance, and regulatory matters, as well as excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. They will be highly organized, able to manage their own work and multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of work.

Key Responsibilities- Provide expert legal advice and counsel to internal stakeholders on commercial and workplace relations matters, as well as legal, compliance, security/privacy and statutory interpretation of law, regulations, contracts and agreements
- Prepare, draft and review legal and commercial documents, including contracts, agreements, submissions, letters and general correspondence
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to develop effective legal strategies, as required
- Represent the company professionally in courts, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings, as required
- Australian law degree with admission as a legal practitioner
- Minimum of 3+ years post-qualification experience gained in a commercial/corporate environment, with a focus on workplace relations and commercial law
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional drafting skills targeted to the audience, internally and externally
- Demonstrate commercial acumen and exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
