The role of Senior Medical Imaging Technologist plays a key part in providing top-notch imaging services which support positive patient outcomes. About The Position
  • Deliver and coordinate comprehensive medical imaging services at an advanced practice level.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate patient safety and quality of care.
  • Practice in accordance with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia's Code of Conduct, Registration Standards and policies.
  • Contribute to a 24/7 imaging service supporting high-quality patient outcomes.
About You
  • You are a qualified and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist who:
  • Is eligible for registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia and licensing with the relevant regulatory body.
  • Demonstrates strong clinical expertise in radiographic techniques and imaging principles.
  • Adapts confidently to non-routine and complex clinical situations.
  • Has proven leadership in planning, coordinating and evaluating medical imaging services.
  • Manages caseloads effectively in fast-paced environments with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and in person.
  • Builds positive relationships with patients, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Applies legislative and policy frameworks supporting equity, disability access and occupational health and safety in everyday practice.
