About the Role:

Our Townsville site is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support daily operations.

This role reports to the Area Operations Manager and will support some production plants in the region.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising sites to ensure safe and efficient production of products for customers.

  • Have skills in forklift operation and front-end loader management – including license qualification
  • Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Be passionate about safety with a strong work ethic
  • Have effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Be able to physically perform all duties associated with the position
  • Driver's license and own transport are essential; FEL or LF competency is beneficial but not required
  • Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening

Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Support and promote a strong safety culture across all sites
  2. Work collaboratively as a team to achieve objectives
  3. Produce high-quality products using multiple systems and processes (training provided)
  4. Allocate and assign loads to drivers
  5. Manage stock levels and coordinate deliveries
  6. Oversee contractors carrying out site maintenance
  7. Maintain yard facilities and operate front-end loaders
  8. Operate forklifts and manually handle bagged products
