**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our South-West Melbourne office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of SME and Retail clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Managing a portfolio of SME and Retail clients, delivering tailored insurance solutions
  • Providing expert advice on insurance policies and coverage options to meet clients' specific needs
  • Developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Negotiating with insurers to secure the best terms and pricing for clients
  • Handling client renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims assistance as required
  • Identifying opportunities for new business and cross-selling additional products
  • Preparing presentations, reports, and documentation to support client meetings and reviews.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience as a broker, preferably within SME and Retail sectors (Highly experienced Assistant Account Executives will also be considered)
  • A good understanding of Winbeat, Sunrise and SCTP
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage multiple accounts with high attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Strong sales acumen and the ability to identify new business opportunities
