Job Title: Clinical Nurse Leader

This is a part-time Clinical Nurse position that involves providing specialist nursing care and clinical leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality and best practice nursing care while leading and developing the team.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Applying advanced practice knowledge in areas such as wound care, catheter care, stoma care, and insulin management.
  • Managing clinical workload, including care plans, referrals, and provision of services.
  • Ensuring effective communication with clients and carers.
  • Providing consulting and coaching to staff on specific cases or aspects of clinical practice.
  • Contribution to maintaining high standards of clinical practice within the Service/Program.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A current National Police Certificate.
  • A current Driver's License and own reliable vehicle.
  • A degree in Nursing.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Current AHPRA registration and evidence of recent practice.

The ideal candidate will possess specialized knowledge and expertise in community nursing across the lifespan. They will also have leadership and management skills, experience leading a nursing team, excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
