Aged Care Nurse Specialist

">Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Aged Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to our residents. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement resident-focused care plans.

">Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care aligned with AHPRA standards
  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of Enrolled Nurses and Care Assistants
  • Build and implement resident-focused care plans and assessments (including ACFI)
  • Liaise with families, doctors, and allied health professionals to coordinate care
  • Actively participate in accreditation, documentation, and continuous improvement
">Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Understanding of aged care standards and the Residential Classification Scale
  • National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with ACFI and aged care documentation
  • Knowledge of government aged care standards and accreditation
  • Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
