Senior Operations Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and successful delivery of contracted civil construction works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the effective supervision and coordination of daily site operations, site safety and resources including labour, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
  • Ensure works are conducted in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Interpret issued for construction drawings, documentation and change.
  • Manage Leading Hands/Site Team and provide progress reports to management.
  • Monitor site safety to identify and mitigate risks/hazards and promote a zero-harm culture.
  • Liaise and manage ongoing relationships with client representatives to ensure satisfaction with job progress.
  • Recruit site employees where required, conduct interviews, phone screens or inductions.
  • Mentor and lead site employees, providing training and monitoring new employees.
  • Address complaints (internal and external) and resolve interpersonal issues.

As a Senior Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, supervising site staff, and ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently.
