Job Description

This role combines strategic partnership, operational execution, and core administration to drive business outcomes.


As a proactive and hands-on HR & People Operations Lead, you will be responsible for partnering with leaders to align HR initiatives with business strategy.


Main Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to align HR initiatives with business strategy.
  • Lead programs in performance management, engagement, culture, and workforce planning.
  • Analyse HR data to drive decision-making and advise on people-related strategies.
  • Support organisational change and talent development efforts.
  • Oversee HR operations including onboarding and offboarding, employment contracts, probation periods, people training and career development, HRIS updates, and payroll coordination.
  • Oversee Time and Leave Management processes.
  • Perform HR administrative duties such as record-keeping, policy documentation, and employment letters.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee files, and manage internal HR communications.
  • Ensure the integrity of data within HR systems and generate reports as required.
  • Keep HR policies and procedures current with legislation accurately.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations, managing issues such as grievances or performance concerns.
  • Drive a positive work environment through wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Act as the key contact for HR queries from staff at all levels.
  • Lead or support HR projects to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Requirements
  • Strong generalist HR experience with practical knowledge of industrial relations systems.
  • Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure, managing sensitive issues with discretion.
  • Skilled in risk mitigation and compliance in HR contexts.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • High proficiency in HRIS tools, data handling, and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both strategically and operationally.
  • High emotional intelligence, confidentiality, and resilience.
