Data Science Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Data Science leader to drive the technical and professional development of our team of talented data scientists.

  1. Building, mentoring, and coaching a team of data scientists to deliver impactful business outcomes through innovative data-driven solutions.
  2. Contributing to the development of our global enterprise AI strategy and roadmap, aligning with business drivers and objectives.
  3. Owning the technical direction for the data science chapter, collaborating with other data and analytics functions to drive regional roadmaps for exploration and adoption.
  4. Working closely with product and technology teams to expand capabilities into important areas like marketing and fraud.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Technical leadership and direction of the Data Science chapter.
  • Driving innovation and business impact through data-driven solutions.
  • Strategic influence on enterprise-wide AI strategy and roadmap.
  • Collaboration with product and technology teams.

You will have high familiarity with agile chapters and be able to work within a matrixed environment, strategically influencing outcomes and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Requirements:
  1. Demonstrated record of building, mentoring and developing data science teams in a corporate environment.
  2. 10+ yrs of experience with a solid understanding of data science industry best practices, model building, and a passion for staying up-to-date with new advancements.
  3. The ability to understand business drivers and align technical strategy to achieve them.
  4. Extensive experience of working effectively with other Data & Analytics, Product, and Technology functions.
  5. Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Strong experience working in agile chapters and working in a matrixed environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • GCP experience.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
