Australia's infrastructure sector is witnessing a period of unprecedented innovation and growth, creating opportunities for professionals to pursue careers in civil design.

This is an ideal time to join our team and take on engineering/design/drafting tasks to meet client requirements for the documentation of various civil infrastructure design projects.

Key responsibilities will include undertaking tasks such as:

  • Documenting civil infrastructure design projects including road, drainage, and utilities using CAD software.
  • Ensuring design quality procedures are applied and design products comply with project management plans and CADD Manual requirements.
  • Providing progress information to supervisors and colleagues to facilitate accurate reporting.
  • Solving problems using standard and modified design and drafting methods/techniques, including computer-aided drawing, modelling, and analysis software.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be currently enrolled or have recently completed a relevant drafting qualification, have a developing interest in civil design standards and principles, drawing and presentation skills, including 3D road modelling.

You should also be able to demonstrate awareness of software design tools for road engineering, including AutoCAD and 12D packages, and have the ability to relate and work well with people at all levels within the team and externally with clients.
