Graphic Artist

We are seeking a creative professional to join our team as a Graphic Artist in Canberra.

Your key responsibilities will include designing and executing high-quality graphics for news, weather, and promos, collaborating with journalists and producers to create engaging visual content, ensuring all on-air graphics meet industry standards and brand guidelines, maintaining an efficient graphics library, and troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure timely delivery of graphics.

This role requires a detail-oriented, creative, and proactive individual with a passion for visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a dynamic work ethic and a drive to continuously improve and innovate.

  • A degree, diploma or similar qualification in graphic design is essential
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator) and a basic understanding of Final Cut Pro
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a fast-paced production environment (TV/broadcast media experience is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Producers, Directors, and Reporters
